Father's Be Good To Your Daughters

My Photo
I have heard many people say how patient and wonderful my husband is and how there aren't many men who could handle being a daddy to7 girls. Here is a picture that shows what it takes followed by a song that I love!

My husband has a great mother who taught him along with the example of his father how important motherhood is.  He adores me, protects me and treats me like a queen.  From our first date he has opened the door for me.  He forced his siblings (sorry guys) to wait to get out of the two door car until he opened the door for me.  My boys now will at times race him to my car door to open it first.
He has allowed me the opportunity to stay at home with our children as they are growing.  When we were discussing things while we were dating he was the one that gave me the perspective of the gift that men will give to their wives by working so that their wives can stay home.  He told me that he didn't want me to have the burden of dealing with all that goes on in the working world.  It is not always a nice place and he wanted to protect me from it.  He also knew how important mommies are to the children as they grow up.  I saw the difference in my life when my mom had to go back to work and I loved the idea of being able to give "me" to my kids as a stay at home mom.
He takes a lot of my burden when he comes home from work; helping with dinner, chores, homework, he listens, and listens, and listens.
He tells me and my girls how beautiful we are.
He looks the other way when he comes home and the house doesn't look like I had hoped it would.
The list goes on and on.
He's a great father.  I tell all my girls when they ask what type of guy they should marry, "Marry someone like your daddy and you'll be a happy woman!"  and then in turn a happy mommy!!
Thank you my sweet husband for the life you have given me and our crazy and fun children!!
With all my heart!
